Change Management
There are many consultants who think that business excellence can be
taught from a rule book - and wonder why they fail (Would you coach your
football team by only reading them the rules and not teach them tactics
and teamwork?)
There are some better consultants that understand the need for achieving
lasting benefit with their clients - and many of them still wonder why
they fail. However much these better consultants "push" for
improved benefits, their client does not seem to want to implement these
changes - and therefore it must be the client's fault! Wrong!
As ISOtec can tell you, however much a client wants to minimize the
change to their organization, achieving business excellence often requires
a culture change within that organization. Achieving that culture change
requires "change management". Not only does "change management" mean
getting the client to be "change hungry" so that they want
the change but it also means understanding the pitfalls where key client
employees sub-consciously resist the changes.
Albert Einstein once defined insanity as "Doing the same thing
over and over again and expecting different results". In our current
world of change, many companies continue to do the same things over and
over again but hope for different results. Change needs to be part of
the culture of many organisations. When you think you understand the
situation, often what you don't understand is that the situation has
just changed.
Talk to ISOtec - not only can we advise you how to achieve your change
and talk you through the pitfalls but we have the experience to make
it happen.
